Tug of War
Tug of War is one of the most ancient sports known to man, with evidence of its practice across the ancient world including Ancient Greece, Egypt and China. It’s a very archaic sport, easy to understand and strictly committed to strength in its purity.
Two teams of eight pull on opposite ends of a rope. The goal is to bring the rope 4 metres in one direction against the force of the opposing team’s pull. At The World Games, the sport is performed in men, women and mixed-team categories.
