Floorball

Floorball is played indoors with a stick and a light-weight ball. The court is similar to Ice Hockey. There are six players on the court at a time for each team, including the goalkeeper. The five field players very often change places on the court, as well as substituting with the bench players. At The World Games, the teams are smaller than normal (14 players), and the matches more action-packed with the three periods shortened to 15 minutes each. At The World Games there are competitions for both men and women.

Floorball is a very fast and dynamic team sport. The sport has similarities to ice hockey and indoor hockey. The ball-move situations change very rapidly, and goals can be scored at both ends in a short space of time.
