Cheerleading, which began as an activity where teams in uniform dress cheer for the sports team they support, using chants and gymnastic routines, has developed into a fully recognized Olympic sport practiced world-wide.
Premier Cheerleading refers to the highest performance division for mixed teams (men and women) under the International Cheer Union (ICU) rules. At The World Games elite national teams compete in this division, performing highly demanding stunts, pyramids and tumbling.
