The countdown is on: on 19 July 2029, Karlsruhe will open its doors to one of the world's greatest multi-sport celebrations – and Olympic champion Malaika Mihambo is already looking forward to it.

On 19 July 2029, Karlsruhe will become the stage for one of the world's most prestigious multi-sport events. Around 4,000 athletes from more than 100 nations will compete across approximately 30 world-class sports – right in the heart of Germany.

And the excitement is already building. Olympic champion Malaika Mihambo puts it perfectly:
"It's going to be a really thrilling competition – a true spectacular. There are so many fantastic sports, and it will be a real family festival."
